Common Ground Coffee House on January 15
Please join us in the remarkably-transformed Fellowship Hall on Friday night, January 15. Live music will be provided by David Rice and Jay Wright. Enjoy the casual conversations and great fellowship! To volunteer for set-up or take-down, please contact Debra Weinel at dweinel@nc.rr.com.

David Rice (singer/songwriter/composer) and Jay Wright (pianist/arranger) met in 1995 as members of the worship team for the former Circle of Grace Lutheran Church in Apex, NC. They quickly recognized a musical kinship and have performed together ever since at numerous local venues, events, and festivals. They offer a distinct blend of heartfelt original ballads, upbeat inspirational songs, and remarkable renditions of pop tunes from the 80's through the present day.

David has recorded two full-length professional albums. He also enjoy applying his creative talents as a potter and artist, while devoting much of his time to his family, friends, and his faithful canine companion Charlie.

Jay has conducted and played for musicals at the DPAC and Memorial Auditorium and traveled the world playing on cruise ships. He also performs regularly as a jazz pianist and is the former music director at Joy of Discovery Lutheran Mission in southeast Raleigh.

Help Feed Hungry College Students
You are invited to help our college students feel welcome and fed by providing a home-cooked meal at their Wednesday gatherings. Each Wednesday the students arrive in our student center at church ready to share their joys and struggles over a meal. You would provide an entree, side dish, and dessert. Best of all you share time with the students over the meal! The students set-up and clean-up. If you would like to be a part of this ministry, sign up on the sheet in the pavilion. If you have any questions please contact Sharon Freeze at sharonfreeze@yahoo.com.

Altar Flowers for January
Each week, members of Holy Trinity donate two vases of altar flowers as a way to remember a loved one, celebrate a birthday or wedding anniversary or honor a ministry of the church. If you would like to provide flowers for one or more Sundays, please sign up on the flower chart in the Kees Pavilion. The cost is $43 (including tax) per vase, and you will be billed directly by the florist. The January 2016 sheet has vases available for all 5 Sundays. For more information on this ministry, please contact Linda Wagoner at lwagoner@nc.rr.com.
