Close Knitters of Holy Trinity was organized in 2008. The Knitters create prayer shawls, and also knit baby blankets and caps which are donated to Safe Motherhood, a program administered by the IMA World Health, an organization dedicated to advancing the health and healing of vulnerable and marginalized people of the world.

The group meets once a month, either in the Fellowship Hall or the Overflow Room, at times announced in Luthertidings and the church's monthly calendar. Some members prefer to knit or crochet at home and bring finished items to the church.

Close Knitters welcomes all those who knit and crochet, either beginners or advanced artisans. Please contact Claudia Bond or Patricia Bockmiller.
